This add-on convective section bolts to an old radiant-only vacuum heater to provide increased capacity for an oil refinery process.

This thermal fluid skid assembly supplements a larger fired system with a combination electrical heating/water cooling loop. This system is designed for vapor or liquid phase operation at up to 750°F (400°C).


Pump skid assembly complete with suction and discharge piping loops, valves, cooling water piping, and seal piping system.


Heat pipe exchangers manufactured by TEi Struthers Wells can provide the highest fuel efficiencies and are especially useful in applications where acid-dew corrosion could be a concern.


This reboiler vessel is heated on the tubeside by circulated liquid to generate vapor on the shellside.

Factory-tested control panels are provided in hard-wired or PLC-based versions. The panel shown here has a stainless steel enclosure and double swing-out doors. It serves three fired heaters from a single location.


Crossflow tubular air preheater bolts directly above a convective section to boost efficiency to 90%+. Designs are available with a very low flue gas P to maintain negative furnace pressure without an induced-draft fan.


Prepiped and prewired fuel skid with control panel allows combination firing of up to 4 different fuels simultaneously under metered control. Heat tracing and insulation are shop installed.


Air-cooled exchanger is used in combination with a fired heating system to provide precise temperature control and controlled cool downs.
